PROCEDURE / STEPS TO SHORTEN A WATCH BRACELET
Some of the tools use to adjust or shorten a watch bracelet.
|1.- You can lengthen or shorten the bracelet by moving the spring bar on the bucker.|
|2.- If it is still not sufficient, then you might have to remove the links. Select the link you would like to take out. Push out the pin that connects the bracelet to the watch in the direction of the arrow.|
|3.- Pushing down on link pin to remove it.|
|4.- Pull out the pin on the other side of the bracelet.
You may find a pair of pliers come in useful when doing this.
|5.- Link is now removed. Repeat steps above to remove more links if needed.|
|6. – After you have removed the link(s), reinsert the pin in the opposite direction of the arrow on the bracelet to join back the strap.|
|7. – Push in the pin.
you may find a a small hammer come in useful when doing this.
